Princess Merida of Dunbroch is the main character from the 2012 Disney Pixar film “Brave” set in medieval Scotland. Merida is the 11th Disney Princess and her story is one of heroics and bravery. Against Scottish royal tradition, Merida chooses her own fate and not to take the hand of a suitor. A keen archer, Merida must discover the true meaning of courage and bravery as she endeavors to undo a beastly curse before it is too late. She races against the clock to save her mother from becoming a bear forever by enlisting the help of some of her new friends. With her trademark flowing red locks, Merida is a true force to be reckoned with.
